Quality
Is it certified? Yes — and here's what each mark means.
Certification badges only help if you know what they promise. Below, every mark printed on a Saptarishi board, translated into plain terms.
IS : 2202
CM/L 7600132810 (Part-01)
The Bureau of Indian Standards specification for wooden flush door shutters. Our licence number is printed on every panel — you can verify it before you buy.
ISO 9001:2015
Certified quality management
An audited system covering how raw material is accepted, how presses are logged and how rejects are recorded.
100% Gurjan face veneer
Full-sheet face, not patched
Gurjan is dense and even-grained. A full face means laminate and polish sit flat, with no patch lines telegraphing through.
Seasoned core
100% pine wood
The core is sanded to a uniform gauge after pressing, so thickness is consistent corner to corner.
Termite resistant · Borer free
Treated at the ply stage
Preservative is applied to individual plies before lay-up, so protection runs through the board rather than sitting on the surface.
Weather proof
Phenolic bonding
Boil-water-proof resin holds the layers under humidity, steam and splash — the reason our doors suit bathrooms.
OK Checked
Hand inspection
Each panel is checked for flatness, edge integrity and surface finish before it is stacked for dispatch.
100% New Zealand Pine
Flush door frame
Imported, kiln-dried pine gives a stable, straight frame that resists the seasonal movement that warps doors.
Warranty
What we stand behind.
Saptarishi boards carry a manufacturer's warranty against delamination, termite attack and borer damage under normal interior use, from the date on your dealer invoice.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage from prolonged submersion, structural misuse, exterior exposure beyond the board's grade, or fitting errors on site.
To claim, keep your dealer invoice and the batch details printed on the panel. Your dealer raises the claim with us directly — no paperwork on your side beyond the bill.
